Goldfield Mine horse group camp

Great spots for your horse and trailer. Good size corral. More space on the pit side. Stay a week or month! Great trails out from camp. Water at corrals. Nice showers and restroom a short walk away. Plan to go back!!

Forest Service free site
  1. Got to the lake area and all campground sites were full.  So we explored!  We traveled out NF-2612 over the dam to the right. About 1 mile down the rode, We came on to a big pull out with big boulders blocking a trail, which led down the the lake! Two great spots for tents. The lake was right there beautiful setting!  Of coarse the mosquito's were very thick.  I would return if in the area. On Forest service land not developed so was free!!  Great fishing, was across the inlet from a boat launch.
Great campsite!

This is a really clean, pleasant site Can hear the train. Bathrooms are beautifuly updated an clean!! We rode in late and was not a problem welcomed us like family! Tent site was rustic and had a spigot near by! Plenty of sites for a group. Pet friendly. Grass at RV sites.

Quiet motel with RV spaces

This is a quiet motel that has a nice grassy lawn for a night to pitch a tent. Clean bathrooms and showers. Coffee was offered in the morning. All for a $10 fee. RV resident welcomed us with a couple adult beverages. Train across road but not bad. I’d stay again.
