Good, but.

The good: The area around the lake and near by pond, is not overly developed. There are wild raspberries and mulberries, lots of wildlife. We had a blue jay that visited us regularly at our campsite, along with deer walking through. The bad: very few sites have a view of the lake. To walk to the lake or near by pond you must go down hill, which could be a problem for any one with mobility issues. Once down to the water trail are easy to walk. I would say if you can try and get sites, 67-70. They have beautiful views.

Small and close

Small campground, so not a lot of people. Site was pretty level. But, closer to your neighbors than I would like. The trails were very nice and easy for most people to be able to walk.

Hole in the wall

Very small campground, less than 20 sites. Good points: next to Cedar River, with boat ramp. Durning week days generally very empty. Bad points: You have to travel down curvy gravel roads to get there, and roads could be closed if River is high. Also, no bath house, only pit toilet.

Small but nice

Camping area is small and so is the sites. But, trails are concrete so people with mobility concerns can easily get around. There is WiFi available at the Conservation Center and if you grab at camping site at the end you can get the WiFi.

Beautiful River

Every nice park, right on the Mississippi River. Really nice bathrooms and showers. One downside is it is near railroad tracks.

Great County Park!

Beautiful little lake. Nice beach area. Camping sites pretty level. Park has free WiFi.

Beautiful River

Stop here on a whim. Loved the view of the the Mississippi River. But, the trains going by during the night was a bit annoying. Though, would not stop me from camping here again.
