Goblin Valley is a beautiful area. We camped about 20 minutes from the actual valley. Plenty of space for big groups. Easy to get trailers there. Good for tent camping as long as you have a tarp to lay down first since it’s a bit rocky. Dogs are allowed. It’s a beautiful area.
There are plenty of places to camp. The early summer is pretty busy. If you camp on the sand be careful because people get stuck. Beautiful waters and warm nights.
This is a lovely area. Best place to go if you want to boat. There are a lot of spots you can go right off the beach. Very sandy, but worth it.
This is a lovely campsite for families with trailers. There are grass patches and you can see the reservoir right from your camper!
The spots are pretty dusty. There is a lot of open area for large groups to camp together. Lots of people shoot guns in the area, so if you are not comfortable with that then do not camp there. Lots of camping space so it is easy to find a spot and its relatively close to the lake.
This area is easy to drive to. You do have to drive through a small river and must camp half a mile from the lake. The scenery is beautiful and we even saw a herd of deer run by our camp. Fishing is right up the road too.
Campsites are very secluded. We were able to camp right by the lake so we could fish. It is pretty rocky and some areas are a little narrow with the trees so bring something lifted if you plan on camping near the lake.
Jordanelle is always a fun place to camp. It's not too far from Salt Lake or Provo and the water is clean. Really good family experience.
