Nice forest service c ampground on lake Conroe. Great trails, bank fishing and wildlife observation. Sites are spaced out but the lack of vegetation between sites makes the sites less private.

Nice spot

Nice Army Corps campground on the bayou. Great trails, boat ramp, bank fishing and wildlife observation. Well maintained.

One of my favorite places

This is one of my favorite places in the south. The old town of rocky Springs is worth a visit. The campground is free. It has not been maintained by the NPS. Sadly it needs alot of work. There are flush toilets but no potable water. But you get to cruise on the trace!

Nice place

Well designed campground in the hills of Northern Alabama. Sites are well spaced. Well maintained. The lake is pretty. Each site has fire pit and table. The price was a little high even with the senior pass. Not much cell service.

Great place

Had a great time here. It is a COE park on a lake. Each site has a table, grill and shade shelter. A lot of the sites are water front. Well maintained and friendly staff.

Great spot

I have stayed here two different occasions. It is a great place!

Great spot

Just spend four nights here. Beautiful place great hikes, awesome wildlife and excellent fishing. Unfortunately it's a party spot on weekends so bring earplugs.

Awesome place

Even though we set up and it rained 1.5+ inches (we are tenters) it is one of my favorite places ever. Great hikes, rich history and it's all free! Be sure too check out the church and old town of rock creek
