Love this campground. Easy access from Las Vegas, but feels a world away. Lots of big trees and bushes make the campground feel like an oasis. I’ve come out here on holiday weekends and was always able to find a site. Many of them have great views. The sites over looking the wash allow you to hear a river while you sleep! At night I’ve always heard coyotes and owls. Access to Lake Mead is a 15 minute drive away. Restrooms are flush facilities and clean.
Beautiful campground. Many sites next to the Colorado River. The views looking up at the canyon walls are awesome! Clean restrooms. Good amount of trees for shade. And in the late afternoon those tall canyon walls shade the campground from the sun. It’s also nice to be so close to Moab making quick supply runs so easy!
This campground has easy access to All the Cedar Breaks National Monument has to offer! Great sites, although my only complaint is that they are pretty close to one another. Also, there’s only one bathroom which is no fun when you REALLY gotta go. Beautiful views from most sites. Located at 10,000 feet it does get chilly at night. Would stay here again, but maybe on a weekday.
I’ve stayed at the campground many many times. It’s a nice escape from the summer heat. The sites are nicely separated compared to some of the other campgrounds up highway 14. Clean bathrooms with pit toilets. No cell reception (which I appreciate, but some might not). It is close to the highway and you hear cars going by all day. However, it’s quiets down at night. There’s a creek that runs through the campground too!
