This campground is nice and clean. The lake is small but has fish in it. Our tent site was kind of close to the road and there was a weird dude driving a suburban around all day and night. Plenty of trees to hammock camp. I would stop here again. They sell wood on site(pay with CC)

Stopped here on my way through Texas. It was clean and the showers had hot water. The lake has fish in it if you have a boat. I kayaked the entire thing and it took a few hours. There aren't many trees to hammock camp from so bring a tent or RV. Hosts were nice. Good place for an overnight stay.

The campground is alive. There are a lot of people that traverse this place. The riiver is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. River was up while I was there making kayaking fun. Plenty of rocks and ledges to jump off. There is a rope swing by the camp. I will definately be back to kayak this river again. The campground was mediocre.

the facilities are clean. you're allowed to scavenge for rocks here and take them with you. we were allowed to have a fire. the park host was excellent. we didn't see any snakes. I would stay here again while traveling through.

I stopped here for one night after driving from California. this is a cool place to Boondock. I was right on the pond and had no problems with anybody else. the bugs were not too bad. the sunrise was amazing. there are no facilities here. make sure you use the restroom before you come and bring what you need. it is also likely that you will not be able to have a fire.

the campsite is good for equestrians. if you're a kayaker you can put in here and travel down and take out elsewhere. the lower Colorado River Authority has plenty of places along the Colorado to facilitate this. we stayed here for 4 days before Memorial Day weekend and it was hot. there are no showers or bath houses. there are Porta-Johns located throughout the campground. Texas in summer can be unforgiving. Lake Travis is home to boaters and Jet skiers. there are fish if you're into that.

the park was clean as any national park is. Lake Ouachita has over 210 Islands. I visited several each day on a kayak. I arrived at Memorial Day and basically had the place to myself. there are ample trees to hang hammocks from and pads for tents. the showers were cleaning and had hot water. I would definitely be back here. I left my kayaks on the beach about a hundred yards from my campsite for a few days with no problems.
