Beautiful spot

Really gorgeous camping spot with easy access to tons of different outdoor activities. Tent sites are very well maintained and very beautiful. Walk-in sites are very close to parking, I would barely consider them walk-in sites. My only complaint is that the tent pads are made of gravel and therefore extremely hard to properly stake down tents.

Sunsets and easy access to all things pictured rocks

Campsite is well shaded in the woods with expected amenities. Well maintained and great location. Very easy to find and very easy to get around and see everything on your list while visiting pictured rocks. Cell service was spotty and weak but not a complete dead zone (at&t). While campgrounds are heavily wooded the beach is just a short stroll away and I highly recommend making that stroll to check out the sunset. For those coming from far away: keep in mind this is northern Michigan, bring warm clothes because regardless of the weather during the day nights will get chilly.

Perfect for a weekend escape

Just a short drive from downtown CB, lake Irwin is absolutely gorgeous. Situated on the lake with stunning mountain views in every direction. Zero cell service means you can focus on pretty much any outdoor activity you can think of. Lake access for kayaks, SUP, swimming, some good fishing spots and tons of trails walking distance from the campground. Highly recommend the scarp ridge trail for anyone looking for a breathtakingly beautiful hike.

Arguably most beautiful campsite i have ever been to

Really easy to find and to get into, easy to get to town, easy to get to so many great hikes and other activities- location was amazing. Absolutely beautiful scenery, stunning cliffs and rock formations in every direction and the site backs onto the colorado River. Corona arch trailhead is literally across the street. Sites were clean and well maintained, same with restroom facilities. Unfortunately no water/wells. Not sure if it was just the weekend we were there or if that canyon is always crazy windy but prepare for wind. We also struggled to stake down our tent as the ground is pretty much solid rock. As long as you can anchor your tent against the wind this is arguably the most beautiful campsite I have ever had the privilege of staying at.

Pretty standard campgrounds

This campground was definitely pretty standard and pretty basic, anyone who frequently goes camping will know what to expect. Amenities were well tended to and campgrounds were clean. Gorgeous location with tons of great hiking near by including some that access RMNP. My only complaints are that there are a ton of sites, very close together and very open, not much shade, privacy, or trees of any sorts around the sites.

Amazing campsite

Love this campground! Great location along Independence pass, short drive to aspen, across the street from lost man trail head, and very close to lots of great hikes and areas to explore. The campgrounds were nestled into a nice forest providing lots of shade and kept the area cool, and there was a beautiful creek directly behind our site. My one and only complaint is that they used far too much chemicals in the vault toilets, made my nostrils burn while using the restroom.

Tiny but gorgeous location

Fairly small campground, most sites located really close to the road, but some had some privacy and were tucked away in the trees. Some were right on the side of the road but had an absolutely amazing view, definitely recommend for those of you with campers/vans. The bathroom facilities were just port a potties, but cleaned daily and in good condition. Very close to telluride and tons of great hiking
