not super easy to get to but worth it

you used to be able to drive and car camp here but the carbon river keeps washing things out.  Now there is a roughly 5 mile hike on combo of old road and replacement trail wherever the road is washed out.  it is a slightly uphill hike but nothing terrible, you are along the river for almost the entire time.  once there expect a fairly large campground with everything you need.  You will have very little company due to the hike in.  if you made it this far make sure you continue across the suspension bridge over the carbon river and the short hike to the lowest glacier in the lower 48.
