It was just under 90°F at midnight and the ground was so rocky that sleeping was a challenge

After a very long drive on a bumpy dirt road after midnight, i arrived at a closed gate that looked half broken down. I ended up camping back down the road a bit in a pull off, and hoping that i didn't wake up to a gun in my face. So windy i could barely sleep

I showed up at 1am and drove around looking for a spot, settling for the one that was closest to the entrance, and much more private. It's a very pretty place, but smells a little of sewage (maybe someone pooped in the bushes?). Lots of animal noises
