My new favorite campground.

I fell in love with this campground this year.

Lincoln City is a great community, and in the middle of the best of everything on the oregon coast.

This campground is decently spaced out, so you feel like there is privacy. Within a minute, you are intown and at shops and other amenities.

Overall great experience.

Meh at best

We have been here twice in the last two years.

Last year - no shade on our site, and Temps were over 100 degrees. No where for the kids to swim in the lake. It was miserable for the entire weekend.

This year - scouted sites and had some shade at least. Still no swimming areas, but the ranger allowed the kids to play in the sprinklers.

Morale - plan ahead with this campground, espically if you have kids. This is a boaters campground, and amenities are geared towards watercraft, not people.

Great place to get away

There is no cell phone reception, nada, none.

For us, this makes it a great place to get away for the weekend and unplug from everything.

The lake is great for those with watercraft, but make sure you acquire an invasive species permit (even non-motorized equipment).

Campsites are managed by Oregon State Parks, and you will see a ranger drive through a few times in the evenings.

I have yet to see a campground host on duty.
