The best part is the closeness to oak creek. Listening to the babbling brook at night is priceless. However, the sites are close to each other and you will be right off Hwy 89A so expect traffic noise until late evening. This campground’s reservations fill up in March/April for the coming summer so book early. I recommend spots 9-12.

This is one of our go to campgrounds because of it’s proximity to Woods Canyon Lake. Not many sites here so it’s quiet but you are kind of close to each other. There is a gravel road so no strollers or skateboards. Well water nearby but no flushing toilets.
