I was just coming through for a quick overnight stay on my way from Tennessee to Idaho I was meeting some friends here and they suggested this campground to me and it did not disappoint! Very nice very clean and a swimming pool what more could you ask for?
There are two spots here first come first serve both of them have 30 amp electric hook ups it’s right on a park with a playground and a baseball field in a track very beautiful area in about 8 miles off of interstate 90
When I arrived here for the camp host basically told me to pick my own spot to which I did and I got everything set up he then came over to check on me and that’s about the same time I turn the water on and there was a bit of a leak coming from one of the faucets he immediately went and got the part and fixed it for me. There’s a really nice tree filled across the bridge to which I can do my yoga in the morning and they’re very pet friendly I’ll be staying here a whole week and so far so good!
I had plans to Boondock in an area and when I arrived it was all full I was tired after a long day of traveling so I called to make reservations here and they were full as well so when I mention that I guess I would sleep at a rest area she said oh do you dry camp and I said yes I do and she goes oh we have room in our field if you’d like to dry camp here and so I pulled in nice lady gave me a tour it’s been a very pleasant and quiet stay. She charge me $20 for the night and I have the use of their facilities and their dump station. Perfect solution to a long day
The new managers were very nice and super accommodating. It is right on the main street in Quartzsite so if you’re wanting easy access to walk to places it’s the place to be if you’re looking for something quieter not so much. It has laundry facilities Wi-Fi and full hook ups with pull through and back in.
There’s also a self-guided tour of tons and tons of sculptures made out of used horseshoes it’s a mechanical zoo basically is what they call it.
