Stayed in site A31, a pull-through site. No sites here have hook-ups. This campground is on a beautiful lake. There is no swimming on the lake(its pretty shallow) but awesome for kayaking and paddleboarding. There is wifi at the boat rental area, an easy walk from all parts of the campground where you can rent kayaks, get snacks, etc. All sites are well spaced out(A loop, I didn't see the other loops) but non- lake side sites don't have a ton of tree cover so aren't very private. Tent sites next to the lake are closer together and DO have more trees/ privacy. Several good trails within the campground- the 2.5 mile lake loop which winds around the lake was nice, flat and beautiful.

This is a nice campground with sites decently spread out.  One drawback is that from the campground there is no easy access to the lake- you can either drive and park (and hope to find parking) or walk on a busy road .  The lake is lovely, though, we rented a paddleboard and had a wonderful time.

Site 13 was a lovely site with a HUGE area to camp in.  We had two cars, a travel trailer and a tent and had plenty of space.

Stayed only overnight at this park. Very quiet park, bathrooms were closed to overnight guests so didn't get to see them. Full hook ups(including sewer) which were easy to access. Spots were SUPER close together and no picnic tables, but great spot to stay for a night. We camped at Broad River Campground in a Travel Trailer.  Campground is pretty far from restaurants, grocery stores, etc so plan accordingly.

Absolutely beautiful park. Well maintained facilities and lots to do. Within easy walking distance were hiking trails, Atalayah'castle'(great tour), nature center and estuary walk, gift shop/ visitors center, lots of hiking trails, and the beach! We walked everywhere but bikes would be awesome. We were in site 113 on the back loop- those sites(back loop) were super private and very well spaced out for privacy- the most private sites I've ever seen at a state park. Wifi was good near the bathrooms, but not at our site, so if you need wifi go towards the bathrooms. We camped at Huntington Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at the Beach campground at Edisto State Park.  Gorgeous campground with some sites backing up to the marsh.  All sites were well spaced out (especially on the main road/ not the loop), and all had easy access to the beautiful beach.  Highly recommend bikes as the beach campground is a quick walk or short ride over to Bi-Lo and other parts of main Edisto.

We stayed at Lake Hartwell State park in stie 98 which was a lovely lakeside site.  The sites on either side (96, 99) all shared a path to a small beach with lake access.  Most other sites in the Wiggins Loop did not seem to have lake access- exceptions being tent sites and the cabins.  There was some privacy and the sites were decently spread out, but since they were staggered a bit you could definitely see into other sites.

Nice camp store with helpful staff and firewood for sale.

Place was packed over the weekend but cleared out Sunday.

We stayed with friends at Kimsey Creek Group campground, part of Standing Indian Campground, Site A. This was a beautiful, secluded spot for a small group with a rushing creek right beside it and its own bathroom(no showers right there but showers weren't far). We were able to pull our travel trailer easily into the parking area, while our friends tent camped. Other sites- Group sites B and C are on the other side of the creek and require a drive over some running water. C was much more isolated(back of the campground area) than B. Those two sites share a bathroom(again, no shower). Driving around, through the other campground part I really liked loop 1 as it seemed to have the most private sites with large trees.
