Rustic camping in the middle of Seeley Pass

Rustic campsites with easy access to the Seeley Pass trail candy. Lots of mosquitoes- so many it was hard to be outside and enjoy a fire at all, but also an untypical rainy weekend. Very quiet area in the middle of the Northwoods. Small sites with long grass around all the sides, which makes for a fair amount of ticks. If trail access was all we wanted, I’d give it 5 stars. On a rainy weekend, it wasn’t ideal. Must pay for showers.

Quiet Mosquito Free Campground

Quiet and mosquito free campground on the root river in beautiful SE MN. Near Forestville State Park and great gravel riding. Free WiFi. Hiking Trails. Fly fishing. Did I mention to mosquitoes!

Rustic camping close to miles of single track

Great rustic campground with trail access to Cuyuna MTB trails. Offers hot showers. No water/electric hookups. A couple sites allow for smaller RVs and pop-ups but mainly tent sites.

Perfect quiet location next to Custer and Mt Rushmore

Perfect campground nestled between Custer State Park and Mt Rushmore. 3 miles from Sylvan Lake and all the hiking you could ever want. Hot showers, free WiFi (although you need to be at camp store to get a signal), playground for the kids and a pool. 2 miles from Mickelson trail- hop on your bike and ride 6 miles up to Crazy Horse! We’ll definitely be back!
