Avoid 188

Overall, the place was beautiful. Very peaceful, lots of privacy, and we loved it. We camped on site 188 for 3 nights and really enjoyed having our own private “beach,” however, we it was extremely boggy! The campground had put down sheets of plywood to help, but still the ground was so soggy that the plywood had eventually “soaked away.” It helped but not much.

Aside from the wetness of the ground it really is a beautiful spot. I’d still camp there but not at 188. Also, the hike in does take some effort, it’s not bad but if you car camp and have pop up or anything heavy it could be difficult for you.

Pretty Views, Pretty Crowded

We’ve heard great things about this camp ground and I can see why ppl come here. The views are beautiful, the water is clear, but wow is it crowded! We like to have privacy and prefer a quiet experience but ppl here are packed in. Everywhere we turned there was a person or kid running around on the rocks. Unless we get a hike in tent site I don’t see us ever returning.

Beautiful Views

Camped on one of the waterfront tent sites. Super nice but close to highway so you could hear the cars drive by and see the hwy from the site. Not super quiet but I’d still camp here again.
