It was incredible - the island is so peaceful, you can hear the peaceful waves of Lake Michigan all night. The beaches are wonderful, and the sights are spectacular. It is hike-in, but such a great place - e will definitely be going back!

I was able to see the sunset one night and the sunrise the next (see photos). I love this campground.

We spent one night overnight and had a wonderful time - relaxing, good clean water, family friendly, and plenty of activities.

A nice little campgeound near the river in Fredonia, WI. The campsites are inexpensive and comfortable, though there aren't as many amenities that a larger campground would have. Overall, a nice little getaway.

The campground itself is fairly small, but is segmented in ways that allow you to have great privacy and some decent hiking. The lake has a nice area for swimming, as well as dedicated boat/kayak launches. There's a nice hiking trail that wraps around the entire lake, which makes for a good hike. Very family friendly.
