Besides being way over priced. We reserved a spot. For two nights that came out to 170$. Insane. But we went for it. People that worked there are really friendly. I will give them that. But they took us to what they called our site. Just a lumpy area of grass looked nothing like a site. It had just dried up from a monsoon flood. No shade ( it was 103 degrees.) the river looked like a mud slide. Just dark sediment water. Buggy. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here if you are tenting. We saw the site and jumped back in the truck and asked for a refund and to cancel. There's disbursed camping in the area for free that looked nicer. Just an FYI
Great quiet spot just outside Sedona. Nice and shaded. Camp spots are good sized. No Bluetooth speakers allowed which was awesome. Camp host were super nice. Watch for skunks. They sneak up at night
Nice and quiet area. Roads leading to the lake are washboard dirt roads. Easy to get through in any vehicle. Lake is small. No swimming. Kayaking and paddle boarding allowed. Fishing is supposed to be good. Campsites are set up nice. Some shadier than others. Gets buggy in morning and dusk.
If you like to stay off the beaten path and away from crowds. The this is a spot to check out. Stayed memorial weekend. We were one out of about 5 campers in the area.
. They have primitive bathrooms . No potable water. So bring water. It is buggy. Ants, nats, mosquitos. Look for spots with shade cause it gets hot. . Sites from 19 to 36 are pretty nice.
