The wild ponies make this area so special and worth the drive.
Very clean, well kept and the hosts are terrific.
Get ready to shed your stress. Camp sites are not on top of one another and it is stunningly quiet here. Great place to set up your hammock and swing the day away.
A must stop while touring the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Stunning views along the gorge hike. Be prepared for 700 stairs, but it is so worth the effort.
Campground is well kept and the facilities are very clean. The camp host (who we did not meet) made rounds often.
Easy to get to and it is very near Clayton, GA which we recommend visiting. It is an eclectic town with great shopping and eateries.
