Not a lot of options on I 70 east of Denver for overnight parking so opted for a KOA last minute. Easy last minute check in process. Served great for a quick in and out.
Some good some bad. Good: Nice location with good spot to view the valley. Easy to due laundry, Nestled in the red rocks. Bad: very tight spots, overpriced given the lack of amenities.
Beautiful new campground with great site spacing and excellent views. All new facilities nice and clean
If we were traveling with our ATV I would give this 4 stars. Excellent campground with amazing access to unlimited off-road trails. We opted to ride a UTV with ROAM outfitters which I highly recommend. They have an office right on the campground site. The sand dunes are amazing and picturesque. The sledding is so much fun and if done with a tour you can sled more not having to hike back up the sand hill. Not having sewer hookup we used the bathhouse which is what to be expected except it would be appreciated if they cleaned more.
Overall it is what you would expect for a gas station RV spot. It serves a purpose which is what I am rating. We were initially in RV site #1 but this had to much foot traffic with everyone stopping for gas walking their pets. Also just more traffic in general. We moved to RV site 8 which was better. Had to contact Loves for both sites. No power initially at site 1 which was an easy fix on their end. Site 8 had the sewer connection locked and no code was communicated to us up front. The staff inside the Loves was very friendly.
Nice place to stay when traveling on i40 through Arkansas. Somewhat noisy. I was fine with my white noise but it bothered my husband somewhat. It is what to be expected. That and parking lot lights. All expected for a quick overnight stay in a parking lot.
We absolutely love this spot when passing through MO with an RV. We stayed here in 2020 twice.
We stayed here back in 2020. Perfect spot with a beautiful cornfield close by making it feel like NE should. Kearney is a fabulous town
