Very nice, clean campground. About 12 pull through sites and a group site for tents. All spots had a level cement pad to park, picnic table and fire ring. Right on the water. Beautiful view. The campground was fairly empty when we stayed and it was very peaceful and secluded, although if the camp was full it wouldn't be very private. Great place to fishing or boat. There is a decent size marina with a restaurant in the park as well. There were a lot of bugs but maybe that's just the way OK is in July… Just bring bug spray!
Very nice park & camping area. Wild horses & jack rabbits present. We dispersed & parked our truck camper right on the shoreline for $8. The hook up sites over looked the water (paved pad, pavilion, fire ring, 30&50 amp electric) bathrooms, showers, dump station. Boat ramp. Nice Pike and Muskie for the anglers.
Very nice free dispersed sites right outside of Grand canyon N.P.. Plenty of options, very large & secluded. Turn onto Moqui Dr off of 180, then left onto forest Rd 328. The 1st 1/4 mile is no camping, go past the stables & youll find plenty of pull off sites. Made fire pits at most. Lots of wildlife, Elk everywhere. The only negative I could see was some trash left behind by previous campers… Please pack out!
This is the normal campground inside a national park…Definitely not dispersed. It was very clean and well kept. Campsites were average for what it is. We have a truck camper & used loop B, site 48- we were the only campers in the loop at this time, the campground was fairly empty mid July, (loop A, the larger RV area was the most populated) . Generators are allowed in this loop at certain times. I prefer a more remote or dispersed camp but this was inside the park & easy to hike Bryce in the morning. It worked for us but I would think if it was full there wouldn't be much privacy in most spots.
Nice, quiet, small camp ground, all sites are on the Colorado river. We chose site #13, it had shade and plenty of privacy. All sites have a great view of the river & canyon although you can't access the river from the sites (thick growth) BUT… the campground has a wonderful little beach area with river access near the entrance (Shown in last picture)
Beautiful view overlooking the valley. This spot was about 4 miles down Hermosa Park Rd. Full of wildlife, Bear, elk, fox and the marmot highway. Very busy on a Friday-Sunday. Arrive early to find a spot.
Small. Doesn't appear to be maintained at all. Very over grown and very rocky Rd in. Tight for a camper. I suggest the dispersed sites on Hermosa Park Rd before you get to the campground. (Or after you pass the campground.) The site pictured is about 4 miles down Hermosa Park Rd before the Campground.
We came in late and took the first spot on the creek. Beautiful view, right next to the creek. I'm sure there are more secluded spots down the trail Rd but this worked for us. There was some mild Rd noise but that's a given as we were right at the trailhead. In the morning they're were quite a few 4x4 coming through but at respectable time. I would stay here again.
Amazing views. Roadside pull off areas. Mostly one lane dirt, can be tight and bumpy. Best for truck camper, small RV or tent. Don't get discouraged if the 1st spots are full just keep driving. They get better as you go…
Excellent camp site. Right on the river. Great shore line for fishing. Clean & quiet. Bathrooms were available.
