Wide variety of spacious spots to choose from. Campground is clean, 2 camp K9 to choose from. Nice bathrooms and laundry facilities. Only complaint is the restrooms/shower houses were not clean. For the price, I would expect clean facilities.
We pulled into this place the end of August expecting to stay just two nights. Found out trailer tongue was bent and getting it repaired took over three weeks. This park has great owners, kind and understanding. The staff are all great and treat guests very well. They were very accommodating with our situation. The park is clean and well managed, mostly surrounded by large trees that offer great shade with long pull through sites/full hookups available but also a spacious backins. Restrooms and showers are great! Recently updated, always clean, with excellent water pressure. Pool is huge for a KOA and has a long water slide open seasonally. Laundry room is sufficient and as expected. This park has a few long term campers that make great neighbors. The park store offers both necessities and some cute finds. Close enough to see all Meridian has to offer. Okatibbee Lake was one out favorites on the hot days with a swimming beach. I highly recommend whether for a overnight stop or a longer stay.
This is a cute stop. Nice long pull through site and pretty level. Prices are very reasonable for full hookups. Telephone customer service was great when we kade our reservation. BUT the sewer hookups aren’t capped and there is a definite odor. The bathrooms are NASTY. Smell like urine and there is black mold across the back wall and floor in the showers. There is dog poop everywhere!
Beautiful! Unique layout makes it feel even more spacious than it is. The only downside (or upside depending on your situation)… T-Mobile reception is TERRIBLE.
We stayed overnight here and left in the morning. The view to the campground was beautiful but the campground was so full and RVs so close together, hard to enjoy what the area has to offer. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Site had full hookups and a picnic table but was not level. Was not a bad experience, but with other campgrounds in the area, I would not camp here again.
We stayed here a couple nights. Close proximity to the beach with full hookups and close to all the SPI has to offer. Restroom and showers were clean and in good repair. Sites are not too close together and an easy walk to the beach. Can’t beat the price for a county park. Check in could have been easier. Spent almost 30 minutes for the process. Overall though, very satisfied and will stay here again.
We used this for a one night pass thru but I would have loved to spent the week. Gorgeous views, and a perk, perfect weather. The night sky is amazing, facilities clean and well kept. Restrooms and showers were in good repair. Electric and water hook-ups with a dump station at exit. Site was a level back-in spot with covered picnic table. Not a lot of shade available at our site but some had more. I would most definitely stay here again to enjoy the state park.
Not much to say. We arrived late and pulled out early. Office staff were great and check in and out was extremely easy. Full hook-ups without any issue.
Nothing fancy but just what we needed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are very close together but most seem to have some sort of tree offering some shade and every site had a picnic table. Restrooms are clean and well kept as is laundry area. Nearby the Petrified Forrest is breathtakingly gorgeous!
Staff is friendly but not helpful. Clean and warm restrooms despite the cold. We paid the extra to be on concrete. Pull thru pad was not level. Hookups were in several inches of mud and made the biggest mess. The view was beautiful and Tucumcari was a neat place to see but I would not recommend this KOA. I paid too much for such a disappointment.
Beautiful area. Pull thru site was level and not too close proximity to the neighbors. Great staff. Clean facilities. The sunset was gorgeous. Close proximity to all SPI has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.
