Lovely campground in a large meadow area with beautiful mountain views. Close to Sprague lake. Lots of wildlife (elk, fish, birds) in the area. Many group sites to choose from. It was across the street from the park shuttle park and ride lot making it easy to get around. Bathrooms with flush toilets and running water. There's also a store for wood and ice at the campground. It can be pretty busy, so expect to see and hear your neighbors. Great location to explore the park.

This is a lovely little campground not too far from Mt Princeton (hot springs and peak). There are a lot of trees at the campground, providing nice privacy between the sites. We had a sure on the inside of the loop. I'd recommend a site on the outside of the loop to get a little more space from your neighbors. Good spot to camp before hiking Mt Princeton or Antero. Bathrooms we're clean and stocked. It was a lively stay.
