Very nice owners. Accommodating to our large family group. We are returning for a second time and reserving about 12 sites. The riverfront sites are great. Ice cream at the store is a bonus. The tube trip down the river is fun! It's a great option for tubing and camping without the wild party crowds of other river campgrounds.

Facilities were very nice. Bathrooms were all individual rooms with sink/shower/toilet. Water was hot, showers were clean. Park is really well maintained. Standard state park campsites - Close together, no privacy. It had great cell service, wifi, and was close to lots of activities.

The park was full, but I'm so glad it was! For $13 you can drive right out and stay on the beach. There was so much room, the sunset and sunrise were amazing. There were wild hogs in the evening… so avoid those. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean right outside your door is amazing! Bring a shovel to dig a hole for your fire… it was windy!

Meh. I had higher hopes for this campground. Showers were heated, but the water was cold and you had to continually push the button. Sites were large but not private. I had a lake site and the people across the road parked their fishing boat on the shore in front of my campsite and were constantly walking right through my site. Sunset and sunrise were beautiful. I did not see any Eagles.

This was a quick stopover on my way to another campground and I wish I could have stayed longer. Sites were private, lake view was great. Bathrooms were clean and heated. Raccoon did peek its head into my camper… ahhh!

I was practically surrounded by water. Deer, beavers, armadillo, birds! There are many different campground areas, I stayed in Pine Grove. Bathrooms were old but not too dirty. They were heated very well. Several dump stations. Friendly staff.

Can't believe this place was free. It was nearly empty (although it was the end of November). The hiking was fantastic and the few people camping there were very well dispersed and all respectful.

100% will camp here again!

Very private sites. I was surprised at how well each site was hidden from the others. Restrooms can be a bit far from some sites. Nice little dog park by the beach too.
