NIce sites

Excited they had a spot available when we couldn't find anything else. No water or electric sites were pretty good. Site was level. Bathrooms were clean but smelled weird.

Quiet small state park

Most but not all sites are level. Decent amount of space. Restrooms are ok. Pretty quite.

The mosquitos were crazy!

Nice and quite

Large (considering the  size of the city) camping area. Arrived in the dark so kind of hard to make out sites but they are level. About 30 sites Most (if not all) had water and electric available. Some had picnic tables and firepits as well. Jerry (who picks up the money) lives across the street and only charged us $10. Was quieter than at my house. Bathrooms available 24/7. Jerry said that a key was needed to use the showers. A great place to stay the night before checking out this cute small town.

Amazing site decks

I've stayed here a few different times. The sites are level but may have a steep incline or decline to reach pad.  The campground is hilly but several sites have good views of the lake. Most have some shade. Clean bathrooms.

Large campground on the lake

Large campground with odd sites. There is a spot for your vehicle and then the campsite is either elevated or lower. Our site was lower than our vehicle. Sites were very level. I believe all sites on the lake side have access to see it. We were able to see it via a short trail. It was amazing that we were able to get firewood delivered right to our fire ring for cheap. We didn’t get to use it because the sky opened up about 10 minutes after they delivered. Bathroom was passable with no soap.

Near Nature

Good amount of space between all spaces. Sites 1-3 are the easiest to get to. We were at site 7, it took about 250 steps from the parking lot to our site. All sites have lots of shade. The campground is next to a pond that gets rather loud at night. I never knew frogs/toads could be so loud. Easy walk to visitor center from campground. On the path after crossing the road, we saw the synchronous fireflies! There were even a few at our site. There is vault toilet at the parking lot. Only yucky smelling hand sanitizer to clean your hands and poor air circulation.

Quintessential Smoky mountains feel

Off the beaten bath but a great way to escape the crowds. All of the sites along the creek are amazing. We were in site 11, nice but next to a group site so a little louder than I like. There are trails near by but I was unable to experience. Bear boxes and trash bins. Centrally located water. Bathroom was not super clean but passable. Area to wash dishes away from your site at the bath house.
