Quick winter overnighter

This place was perfect for us but we wish we could have stayed longet. The primitive sites are along a stream. We stayed in campground 3 and backed right up to the creek. Nobody else around! Great spot.

Truck camping

Great spot. We stayed the night after Thanksgiving, so we had almost all of the dispersed spots to ourselves. Super quiet right by the lake. Take spot 40 or 41. Only thing to be aware of is the spots are fairly close together, so in peak season it could be tight.

I can only give this place 3 stars for a few reasons. One, it was $37!!! for a primitive site that wasn't any more special than any other primitive site I've stayed in. Though having water on site was nice. Second, it was basically next to a giant parking lot, so not super scenic. Now the good stuff. Really clean, quiet, and very friendly staff. And BEAUTIFUL sun rises! I'd stay here again, but would have to look really hard for a less expensive more private spot next time.
