Nice small campground surrounded by water.

Lovely small campground located inside a National Park land. Full hookup sites are named after the original 13 colonies. Nicely situated between Williamsburg, Hampton, Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Tent sites, group accommodations, store, firewood, pavilion for rent and typical rv resort activities including corn hole, pickle ball……

First to Review
Wonderful small campground located on Chesapeake Bay near intercoastal.

Lovely small campground right on the banks of the bay! This woman owned campground is “old-school”, which is perfect in the absolute serene setting. No sewer but full electric and water. Dump station. Lots of activities: fishing, crabbing, swimming, boating, regattas, hiking/walking, and fresh waterpond catch & release.

Day Use Only

No camping or cabins.

Thousand Trails

I’m not sure if this is typical of Thousand Trails/Encore or not. The location is wonderful, as far as it’s close to interstate 64 providing access to Williamsburg, Richmond and Virginia Beach. Getting to the actual “resort” is difficult, hard to find and small roads. The sites are close, many are not level, not very big rig friendly and satellite is near impossible due to trees. It is unfortunate that it feels too residential, more trailer park feel. On the up side, the staff is friendly and try to accommodate as best possible. Activities abound including game room, indoor & outdoor pools, corn hole, basketball, beautiful putt putt course and adult/child activities. Suggest calling over online booking.

No longer Outdoor World.
