This whole area is stunning. We stopped here on our way to Bryce Canyon. You can hike up on the red rocks and just soak in the beauty!
There are several nice playgrounds, ranger led activities, a nature center that my kids loved, a butterfly garden, several short hikes that are good for kids. There are several sinkholes and cedar glades. There are also some caves you can explore if you want to get muddy. We often go here for day visits, but the overnight amenities are also nice. They no longer have horse stables.
This was a great little campsite. They had several activities for kids, a nice little fishing pond, a restaurant where they hosted bingo games and other activities, and a hot tub. The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were all very friendly. They even let me sit in their restaurant really early in the morning to teach some classes online. If you go in fall, there is a nice farm with loads of fun fall activities.
Fall Creek Falls is a beautiful park. The campsite was nice and spacious, and the kids loved having swings right by our site. There a several nice hikes, waterfalls and swimming holes. There wasn’t much water in the falls when we were there last, but it was still beautiful. There is also a riding stable close by. The kids loved it! I got to ride Leonard the horse who looked a bit like the Wonky Donkey. 😂
This is one of the nicest capsites I have ever been to. I love the privacy of the pod style tent sites, and the beach is gorgeous.
