Nice and quiet

Stopped here for the night over the summer. Not many people in the tent area mid-week. Bathrooms were clean, firewood for sale, picnic tables and fire rings at every site. Dog friendly!

Plus side: beautiful views of the Badlands

Did an overnight here on my way to the Black Hills National Forest. No privacy but it's the Badlands and there's no trees. The covered picnic table was great! The toilets and showers were clean and hot water(!). I was in site #2 which is pretty secluded based on the rest of the sites. Be prepared with food that doesn't need to be warmed up! I have a Coleman propane portable grill that wouldn't stay lit because of the wind. There's also a great little diner just up the road if you need it! Would highly recommend for a night or two!

Great for one night!

I stopped here with my dog for the night. The semi-modern or tent sites have okay privacy. Some sites like 18 and 19 (where I stayed) share space so those sites would be great for groups. Could hear the traffic from the local highway but it wasn't too bad, I still slept well. The grounds were prettt empty but I was there on a Tuesday night before Labor Day.

The dunes and dog beach were perfect for Clutch to expel energy after a long drive.

These grounds would be perfect for a night or two or if you have a larger group.

FYI: Vault toilets
