Simple but pretty backcountry camp site

Short down hill hike (<2 miles) to this campground. There are a couple of sites. We found water running in the stream near by but this might not be the case year round. Beautiful open field near by the camp area. This site felt more established than the nearby Blue Canyon camp.

Nice night sleeping amongst redwoods

I camped here while bike packing along the Pacific Coast Route. Normally I would have camped at the state parks which offer cheap bike camping spots but they were all closed at this time so I had to reserve a normal full camp site. It was rainy but this site was still beautiful and actually quite protected from the rain since you are underneath the canopy of the redwoods. It had a nice picnic table and flat area for a tent. The campsite was densely packed but the site still felt private amongst the trees.
