If you can i reccomend scoping out sites before you book. Some are hike in, some pull in, some are more for groups/rv. Canopus lake is gorgeous, you need a permit to put you boat down and you don't launch at the beach… you launch up the road a bit. Nice section of the AT runs through. Some easy trails if you want a quick spin. Pelton pond loop is lovely. They just switched their water over to potable last year. Bathrooms are spaced far apart.

Bring your boats! There are a few tent sites where you can launch your boat. I want to live here I love it so much.

Dug it. Not a fan of the platform for the tent. Nice hikes. The view from the lighthouse is worth it.

What a beautiful park. Go river rafting! Only drag is the mixed rv and tent sites.

Great grounds. Pet friendly. Boat launch. Check out the easy Catskill Mountain house hike (super easy). Only drag is the sites are a bit close together. Bathrooms are super clean. Recycling center super clean
