This park is located just outside of Estes Park, right along the river. The park is very clean and the staff is exceptionally helpful. The sites are level, but rather small and close together. There are no trees in most of the sites. The facilities were acceptable, although the pool and hot tub were closed during our visit. The trash pickup was a nice touch, just leave your trash at the front of your site and they collect it. No canopies are allowed, which is a downside without trees and also no campfires, which will keep our group from returning.

This is a great campground for a quick getaway! The full hookup sites are few, but the campground is lively, lots of aspen trees and shade. Fishing nearby is stocked and great for children/novice as the fish hit fast

Beautiful scenery, easy access into sites. Short walk from campground to the water. Fishing was amazing!

Great little RV park in State Forest State Park. Small pond nearby and beautiful hiking around the campground. Take lots of bug spray, the mosquitoes are everywhere

Great location, close enough to Denver for a weekend trip. Sites are a bit close together, but that might be better in summer months when trees have leaves. Bathrooms were very clean—pay showers. 3 bars on Sprint…good enough to stream a movie.
