Camped over the long weekend. Tent camping. Was in spot 28 which is not on lake side. Found that there is little privacy between sites. The bathroom is showing its age though the shower is free. The campground is dog friendly. It is pretty quiet campground.
Good clean campground. Many of the sites have good privacy. Restrooms are clean and one is quite new. ADA options. 7 miles of reasonably maintained trails though not marked very well. Park map is terrible. Location is everything with easy access to Mt St Helens learning centers and observatory.
This is a comfortable sized campground. Some of the sites have at least a little privacy. Some of the sites are not very level for a tent. There are some hiking trails that are not too long. There is also access to the water across the street. The canal offers options for fishing and shell fish, when in season.
The sites are well maintained. The bathrooms are clean. The campground is accessible for those that need it.
Beautiful park, small campground. Nice hiking trails. Great access to the river. Great history to the park. Facilities are in great need of repair. The single shower is beautiful but filthy.
