An amazing find

Such a quiet and pretty little park. Has everything you need right here. A river for fishing. Electric and water at every site and an RV dump station on the other side of the park. Almost like camping in your favorite city park.

Dusty Where did the water go??

Sandy Beach Willow campground one of the only two sites with power but no water. It was okay after we cleaned it up. Water was so far away we didn't bother. It could have been much better. Noise, overcrowded, and trash. Come on; people pick up after yourselves.

Could be a whole lot better

From the grumpy lady at the gate to the trashed campsite this could have been a bad experience but I didn’t let that get to me. Cleaned it all up and set my sites on a great weekend. Then the train came… and another one… all night long. At least there was water this time. All of the camper sites were supposed to be full so I decided to use a tent only option. So many open sites when I got there and they never filled. IDK maybe it’s a Covid thing. Not really a campsite I was to use again. I was at Sandy (should be called thorny) beach.

Such a nice place!

Stayed here during the week and it was not crowded at all. Great hiking trails at varied levels of ability. Only issue was access to potable water and no RV dump.
