Our plan was to get to the bootlegger campsite, accidentally ended up at hammock (then realized it’s a 50minute drive to get to bootlegger) so we stayed at hammock. It was great - plenty of brush between you and the next camper. Site with picnic table, fire pit with grill & designated tent spot.
No complaints about this site; plenty of campsites to pick from even with about 6 other campers; space to spread out from others. Good for primitive tent camping. Had a fire pit with grill and picnic table. Right on the lake with pier access and boat ramp- pretty cool spot. Only lost a star because of previous campers leaving some trash behind.
This site has about 3-4 spots for campers: our spot did not have a picnic table. But already had a little fire pit ready to go & a nice bench carved from a tree. The downfall is it is right off a road - not too much traffic but also very close. There are bathrooms which was a nice addition. Very basic spot
