Lots of biking and walking trails and plenty of off trail paths that lead to unique clearings, bridges, etc. The preserve bumps up next to neighborhoods and major roads depending how far in you get, but the main trails are easy to follow.
This was one of the few sites that still had availability a couple weekends ago (July). The sites are surrounded by trees so you don't see your fellow campers, but still close enough that you can hear them. The campsites are located along different loops and the location itself was great.
Although this campsite has spots for tents and pull behind trailers, it was 90% rv Park. The sites were on top of each other and fireworks were being set off all night even though signs are posted about quiet hours and fireworks specifically. There are also ATV trails so we had to listen to that most of the day and night.
Making reservations at the group site was easy and ensured no other campers were near us. Beach access and a great tree canopy allowed for comfortable tent camping.
