Perfect small campground

This is a perfect small sized campground with trail access to UTV /Atv trails. If you are coming here to ride I would recommend going west on the trail. North a lot of the trails were closed. The coin operated atv wash is $1 for a minute. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept. Sites have electric no water hookups at the site . Fill of station is across from site 1.

Dry camping with a view

This spot was beautiful. Right on the river. Many people were out fishing. This spot has access to UTV trails. It’s a smaller campground. It was quiet and peaceful for a one night stay. There’s is no water or electric or dump station. Keep in mind the access road into the camp is very narrow. Your best bet is to have someone be a look out and clear the road because your in between a rock and cliff. Just be prepared for a narrow entry

Quiet retreat

Our stay was great. Owners are very helpful! My husband and his best friend were able to go UTV riding off the camp. The owners helped them finding the route. There’s no cell service here and it was a nice break!

Beautifully maintained

We had site 12. We were a bit early for check in the host was very nice! We had time to kill and the host said he would come get us once the site was ready. We used the dump station. After he came and got us for check in. $9 pay station is self serve. Bring some cash for daily permit. The host took such care of this campground. Every time we saw someone leave they would clean out the fire pits and rack the gravel. 100 would come back if we find ourselves back in CO

Quiet location surrounded by nature

We stayed at site 11. It was large enough to fit our 40 ft 5th wheel. The site is open and spacious behind the paved parking for the rig. Bear proof containers are at each site. Our site wasn’t 100 level. It was a little lower on the left side. We drove onto some blocks to level it out. We have automatic jacks and the site wasn’t level enough initially for them to come down. You are right next to the bathroom, water and dumpster. It’s enough space in between.

Beware that there is no dump station here. We stopped at the The Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant . They take cash or personal check $3 for RV.It was easy and self service!

Private water front site

We stayed at T02. It’s non electric with great view of the lake. There’s multiple beaches you can walk down too from your sites. It was a little big tight getting our 40ft trailer into the spot. I would recommend staying at eagle campground kitty corner across the damn. It’s got better sized sites for large campers and there’s day use parking at big Thompson. It was beautiful though and I wouldn’t change anything

Great ATV access

We stayed with a group for Memorial weekend. We have such a great time. Some of our group was tent camping and said the showers were nice and hot but tended to be a little muddy after awhile. Our site was a little hard to get into. We stayed at site 116 with a 40 ft 5th wheel. I would recommend booking early to get a better spot for a big rig. That spot would be easier to get our 30 ft travel trailer into. Water filling stations are all over the campground. It was our first time and we though the dump area was the water station. It was not. Other than that we would definitely recommend.

119 is paved ada 116 can fit a TT and atv trailer comfortably 115 - tight for a 32 ft travel trailer the trees are very close 132 - the area is below the street level which flooded out with mud
