Bathroom was so clean and heated! The campground was well maintained, very close to the scenic route and multiple trailheads. We even shared a view with an old barn and three horses
Perfect distance to everything! We walked to the visitor center, bathrooms, general store, the brewpub, and the outdoor gear shop! Some Hikes are also really close to this campground and were nice to do close by! The campground was so clean and had great bathroom options! There were dish scrubbers and soap available at a dish washing station which was very nice!
This campground was awesome! A map and information guide was waiting with out name on it when we arrived, easy access to water and a bathroom. Amazing views from the campsite, and sites were nicely organized and separated from one another.
Beautiful spot to relax! I didnt hear or see a single person the entire night even though there were other people in the area!
There werent any firepits or anything that i could find but there was a bathroom nearby, as well as a beautiful creek!
The first night at this campground we met both our pull in site neighbors!
Everyone was so kind and polite. We had multiple people comeover to our campsite to let us know where they had seen a moose and where they found the best extra firewood.
The campground is known for having moose wander up to tents and cars first thing in the morning so be careful!
Bear boxes, firepits, and tables at every site!
Antelope island was the most beautiful surprise!! We drove from Central Oregon to saltlake in one go and when we got to saltlake we had no idea where we were going to go for the night.
Antelope island was maybe 30 minutes of a drive from Salt-lake and the island was BEAUTIFUL.
When youre on the long straight away to the island everything looks so ghostly, foggy, and unexplored. The sunset was one ive never seen before.
There was only a few other rvs there and everything was very spread out.
Within 10 minutes of finding a spot we saw multiple buffalo and a heard of antelope!
That night the wind coming down from the mountains was horrendous and the rain poored! But the next morning it was beautiful!
I love three creeks lake! The lake is small, lots of fish, every area around the lake is beautiful!
The campsites around the lake ate all on a small hill side, we camp with our car, so it made running back and forth when we needed things a bit of a hassle. But that wasnt too big of a deal!
Fire pits and picnic tables were at everysite as well as parking pull ins at most of them! All are right on the side of the lake!
The campground was awesome, very clean, with multiple bathrooms, a shower house, and a changing room. There were a few First come First serve spots and luckily we got one of those! Its not a very big lake which i think deters it becoming crowded, and it seemed most of the people there were setting up play areas on the bank.
There is a small resort/lodge area across the road from the campground where they have a shop/restaurant and sell small extra camping gear, fishing supplies and non perishable food. From 8-3 there was also a coffee hut that also sold icecream! There were tons of cabins at the resort but that was separate from the campground
This lake is easy to fall in love with! There are lots of fish, birds, deer, and I saw a coyote on exploring the bank while we paddleboarded. People have built multiple wooden shelters around the lake that are fun to explore. However It is a very muddy lake and I tried climbing off my paddleboard on the far side of the lake to grab a coke can in the mud, and as I did i sunk down to my thigh into the mud haha
Headed to this spot we saw hebo lake campground and got very discouraged, but we drove on and eventually saw absolutely no-one! We didnt pass a single car the rest of the way. We missed the turn off originally but saw empty spot from the road after driving on a few minutes. It's very pineconey and pebbley driving in but the road is super super short! There is plenty of turn around room at the end too! People definitely come pretty regularly as the bullet casings are everywhere, someone left a target practice sheet, as well as cigarettes butts and white claw cans. Besides that we didnt see anyone the entire trip! Beautiful quiet paradise!
