We stayed at this site for one night to see arches national park. It was nice land, lots of spots, port-a-potty’s, and moderate Verizon service depending on how deep you go. Alternatively, it was PACKED. People were on top of each other trying to make room for free camping. It was very popular among ATVs and RVs. I would still recommend it because it is so close to the park.
We and my buddies came here after being turned down from the Mosca campsite. The sites here are huge and are equipped with a fire pit. Our one main problem was that because the site was so flat, the wind could get pretty rough. Still able to build a solid fire with the help of a stone barrier. Definitely recommend for free camping
My buddies and I wanted to try this campsite for free for one night during our spring break trip. We found campsite 17 on Loop A and it was absolutely gorgeous. After we made lunch and relaxed for a bit, the kind campsite host drove over and asked for our permits (which we don’t have). The one night permit is 9 dollars per person, and the annual is 38 per person. We opted to just find a free site, and he was kind enough to direct us to a free area not far away, which I will review later!
