Loud but fun activities

Our toddler liked the kids pool a lot and it’s one of those pools that is very shallow so you don’t feel as “on edge” having to keep eyes on your child at every moment. There are more adult pools with swim up bars but we spent more time at the kids pool and eating there. We especially loved the golf cart drive up access at the donut place and Crawfish Town restaurant out front. This park definitely has more of a party atmosphere but was still a great park with clean facilities and full hook ups.

A quiet gem

This was a surprise to us. We went on recommendations from friends and loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. It is so well kept by the Red River Water Commission. We especially liked the big playground and the floating dock.

Family Favorite

This has become our favorite affordable getaway for RV camping. Summer is awesome because of the outdoor AND indoor water park. Fall has been great because of the nice fire pits and we are now a huge fan of their Halloween celebration. The camping spots really go all out in decorating for the kids. There was a costume contest and then a time for kids to visit all spots for candy. It is incredibly clean and spots are all over level ground with gravel. Easy to book online.

Best summer camping!

My family loved Reunion Lake in the middle of summer! Didn’t get a chance to try the activities on the lake, but we loved the lazy river and cabana rental there. If you’re looking for something a little more over concrete and less rugged this is a great one to try. For as big as it is, it also seemed more quiet in the evenings.

Hometown favorite

This is the closest campground to where we live and it’s wonderful to just hook up a few miles away from home. There are brand new full hook ups with water and sewer that have been ideal. Also lots of relatively flat roads to bike on with family. There’s a new playground for the kids that our son especially likes to bike over to.
