Nice RV Park for LA area

This campgroud has two sections. The lakeview area has dirt roads, sparse grass and a few spots close to the lake. The Cottonwood campground has concrete pads and well maintained grass throughout. This campground may have been renovated recently by the looks of it.

There is a small store and a couple of cabins too, but the cabins don’t appear to be bookable via the website.

I stayed in both and liked the spacing and grass better in the cottonwood campground but overall this park was a nice surprise for us, especially given the limited amount of “good” campgrounds around LA.

Showers available, but only ok. Need to use tokens for them. Cottonwood has full hookups thru out, and lakeview is mostly just water/electric with a dump site near the entrance.

Definitely would stay again. Weekends are very busy here

Beautiful views with hiking trail

Must be an odd year as i expected this campground to be full during this forth of july weekend! This is an awesome campground, which is well maintained, paved spots, bench, fire-pit and grill.

This is dry camping only, however there is a central dump with drinking water fill-up for RV’ers. Good hot water for showers. $2.50/8mins. Water for jug filling only, throughout the campground

No ATT cell service in the campground but a very short walk down the road, towards the visitor center, gives coverage. Less than quarter mile.

Very tall trees all around for good shade during the day. Temperature were mild which cooled off well at night.

Solar and Starlink should take note of the tall trees, since this would be a downside for those services.

Would come again!

Echo Bay Lower

There are three campgrounds. This is the lower campground at Echo Bay, good for dry camping. No hookups for RVs.

Close to Lake Mead

Decent location for dry camping. Only one loop of a few spots open so not sure if the others are new or closed foe the time of year.

There are three locations for RV parking. For the upper and lower Echo Bay campgrounds. These are drying camping spots. Across from the Echo Bay is an RV park with full hookups.
