Great place for only $40 a night. It has all the essentials for your stay. First come, first served. Very clean showers and restrooms! Showers are included in the price. No need to buy annoying tokens. (You can also shower for $3 if you aren’t staying over night). This campsite is located in the middle of Monterey so you aren’t far from all the touristy spots. The campground also has short hikes to a nice view! A lot of deer come out at night so I suggest packing your food away in a container. I suggest checking this place out for yourself.

You won’t get lost if you use the app called “WAZE”. Address on WAZE app is, “ Forest Rte 25S04 “ It’s a maps app just like Apple Maps. The app works even when you lose signal! It will take you right to the camp sites if you start the destination while you have signal. If you drive a bit further up the service road, you’ll find some really nice shaded, flat sites. If you want to have music playing loud all night and not have the neighbors complain, this is the spot for you! Hope you enjoy as much as I did! P.S. this hidden gem is as clean as it gets so keep it that way! Always pick up after yourselves.
