do not reccomend.

the grounds are nice but the amenities are not. lots of boat traffic so great if you’re there to fish. $21 a car. stayed two nights and the wife drove separate so because of that it cost $84 then they charge $20 to use the dump station?? nothing happening there for kids. website advertises electric hookups but there aren’t any. the sites are overgrown which goes hand in hand with already terrible mosquitos. 10 mins down the road you can stay on the beach at kasilof for free.

the Russian is in high demand during the salmon run, but off season it offers a lot as well. great scenery, TONS of nature (too much sometimes if you don’t like bears) biking. the sites are set up great. enough vegetation between sites you don’t notice people are 20yds away. big picnic tables and firepits. dump and fill stations. you can run generators between 6am to 11pm. walking distance to the river. $20 a night is hard to beat for the location.

solid spot on the spit!

Great amenities. Water and electric hookups, has shower houses and restrooms on site. Wood for sale. Wireless internet availabvle. Has a few ocean view sites. Others are big enough for slide outs and awnings. Dog friendly but not much room for them if they need to stay outside. Great fishing close by in the hole or at the end of the spit for flounder.
