Convenient location! Good spot for a couple nights!

The campground is just a short walk from the lake and a short drive from everything on the state park and the town of Custer! The campground appeared to be very popular amongst RV campers so it got a little noisy. The camp host made sure to introduce himself mu first night and made sure I knew everything Custer State Park had to offer, which was great since I didn’t have a clue! I liked my site 30E because it was tucked away in a corner and I didn’t have to be fully around other groups in all directions.

Awesome Experience

Solo camper. I had site T-001, which is very accessible and has amazing views of the lake. When I first arrived I was immediately greeted by cheerful, friendly and outgoing camp host Steven, who is very knowledgeable of the area. Kurtis is also a vital asset to the campground as well. Site is quiet, clean with easy access to the lake. Best part was probably Kurtis and Steven. Very approachable and happy to help in any way! I hope there’ll be a day in the near future where I can find myself back here
