Campground is right on bay in nice location close to Camden and Rockland. Very well maintained and nice store.
Well maintained campground with lots of water craft for rent
Beautiful spot on Little Missouri River. Medora is cool little town and Maah Daah Hey trail is epic single track for bikes. Unfortunately no off-road biking in National Park so use Sully Creek State Park trailhead. Bison regularly pass through campground on way to river.
This campsite is on afterbay which is not in the canyon. Campsite is well maintained with drop toilet but no water
There is no road access to any of the campgrounds located inside the canyon. The only road access campsites are downstream of dam in the afterbay
This NFS campground is located on the Rogue River. Sites are very dispersed and full of Redwoods with river at your back. Doesn’t get much better than this for tent camping.
Campground is very well maintained. Excellent tent sites and bathrooms.
Campsite is at 2000 feet so cooler than bottom and way less crowded. Good biking up side roads.
Lake is crystal clear. Great for swimming or paddling. Campsites are close to lake. Only negative for me was this is OHV mecca so noisy during the day.
Large well dispersed campground covered in pine trees with no undergrowth. Excellent road biking and off-road biking options. Really cool volcanic formations.
Free camping in stunning location. Excellent biking.
Dry campground on rim of canyon. Worth a nights stay for the stars.
Hot, sandy, windy, crappy beach. Not my idea of a lake front campground.
This campground has excellent facilities and is well maintained. The lake is so low that its nearly a mile from campsite.
Several bike trails start at this park. Technical single track and some easier rides. Facilities are fine but very minimal shade so very hot midday.
This is not the state park campground. This is the NFS campground in beautiful setting. No reservation required. Right next to trailheads. Great Mountain biking on forest roads that link canyons. Toilets but no water so come prepared.
Many RV parks on this app show that tents are allowed but when you arrive they treat you like vagabond scum because you don’t have a $100,000 RV. This is one of them. Screw them.
Like most KOAs this one is well maintained. Right in town so not scenic but close to shops and restaurants. They have gravel tent sites for $30 which is high for tents but typical for KOA.
Limited sites fill up very fast as no reservations are available. Get there at sunrise and pounce on any spots that come open. Decent bathroom, no showers. Right next to trailheads so great for hiking.
