Quiet and beautiful

This was a quiet park with large sites. No showers, but wellaintained bathrooms, food storage, etc. it was fogged in when we arrived at 5 and still foggy when we left at 8am, but peaceful and nice neighbors. Did not get a chance to hike to the beach due to the fog. Would definitely like to go back.

This campsite was lovely. We were in site 4 across from the visitor center, grassy with half shade half sun, lovely new food storage box, super friendly camp host and rangers, super easy beach access with dogs allowed on the beach.

Showers were $1 for 5 minutes, private and very clean. Could have used a hook or two but otherwise very nice.

Mendocino was super cute right up the road, if expensive. Be prepared, not a lot of choices to stop for supplies after fort bragg.

Hot and buggy with inconsiderate neighbors

Rangers were nice, neighboring campers not so much. After a couple night along the coast and in redwoods NP we drove through humboldt which was full and landed at richardson state park. It was the saturday before july 4, so maybe that was it, but not the same crowd as in redwoods np or patricks point. This was loud and full of rv’s and generators. Also someone politely left all their coffee grounds and filters in the fire pit for us, boo.

It is among the redwoods, not as dense or as beautiful as the ones in humboldt.

Bathrooms well maintained, coon operated showers.

Very peaceful!

This was my favorite campground in our northern california tour. Campimg among the redwoods, so quiet and shady we slept in late each morning. The elk prarie is a few steps away, we didnt have the right season to see any, but the morning fog on the meadow was still beautiful.

Camp hosts were lovely, scenery beautiful, bathrooms had coong operated shawers and were very well maintained.

Beautiful scenery, meh campground

We stayed in abalone point campground. It was a small site, with fungi covered food locker. Banana slugs everywhere. It was kind of cool as we hadnt met banana slugs before, but overall not my favorite site.

Short hike to amazing ocean views- that was wonderful. We spent most of a day hanging out on a less teaveled lookout point watching the waves crash whoch was noce after driving theough the noght to get there.
