Off-Season Camping

We visited December 28th through January 5th. Obviously the pool was closed and the beach was cold. However. There is an indoor pool, arcade, and an environmental center with good displays and also offered hands on activities.

WOW!!!!

What An AWESOME RV Resort! It is worth every penny you pay. The sites are perfect. My grandparents stayed in one of the cabins and these things are off the hook! There is so much to do here for every age, types of interest, and more. Just stay here! Try it! I promise you will be happy!!

So Much Fun!

We had a blast; even with younger kids. RV sites and cabins, friendly staff, free shuttle to the amusement park, great community center, and more. Whether you are hanging in the RV park or at the amusement park, you'll be satisfied. Nice RV sites and well maintained!

Lake Front or Quiet Woods

This was a fun and simple outing. Nestled in the countryside, a very small "Americana" vibing town down the road, boating on the lake, no frills or gimmicky glamping here. This is an RV park for nature lovers or just wanting to be away from hustle and bustle. Young kids may be bored if they do not like to ride their bikes or walk up and down steep streets but it is a nice place, overall. Take everything with you that you may need though. Not a lot of options for food and such to arrive and stock up. I would not be surprised if we go back at some point.

Fun but Tight

Young or old, you and your family will stay occupied here but boy are these sites tight. We have stayed here twice, once in Fall and in Spring, on opposite sides of the grounds. Our first site was awful! Not level, roots everywhere, extremely poor placement of water and sewer, and very tight parking through trees. The second site was a lot better but muddy and far away from the main center, pool, etc.

Only a few miles away from the heart of Myrtle Beach and beautiful Murrells Inlet.

KOA Charleston (Holiday)

Great trip! Only a few miles from historic Charleston. Excellent care to the grounds and friendly staff plus a cool hayride and history lesson. Very happy to have stayed here. Not giving 5 stars ONLY because it was a little pricey.

Nice but lacking amenities

This is a nice park however only one side has full hookup. This park is predominantly just for outdoors people; walking on trails, lounging on the beach, etc.
