Very friendly camp host, he was eager to greet me n my crew of moto riders and offer us a cooler with ice and a dozen bottles of water. Gave us a site away from the main area for some peace and quiet and a great view of the sky’s above. Definitely a nice place to search out for a nice nite star gazing.

Very large camp sites, large fire pits, friendly camp staff, all make for a beautiful nite under the stars. Far enough away from town to not be bleached out and see a beautiful sky. Worth a good trip to enjoy. Have been twice so far in past year.

Been here twice and loved the camp lay out. Sites have a little gap between them for the most part. Facilities are very nice and large. The spring area is built up nicely with easy access. Would suggest this based on location and accommodations nearby if you need any forgotten items.

My group goes to this campground several times a year due to the location to home and for being able to play off road in the surrounding trail system. We ride up on our adventure motorcycles, setup camp then go play all day on the trails. Once done retreat to camp and cool off in the waters of the mine pond. 13 campsites all spaced out nicely so you don’t have to be too close to neighbors unless you wish too. Definitely a fun place to stay.
