For starters the RV park is about 1/4 down a 1 lane gravel road so if you’re pulling a big rig you better hope you don’t meet another vehicle. All the 50 amp full hookup sites seem to be in use by permanent residents. The 30 amp sites are not on level ground. No water or sewer connections for the 30 amp sites. The road also gets a little steep and winding to the 30 amp sites. Nice small lakes make for a nice view once you get into the valley.
There are some good reviews here so I will just add a few extra notes. First and foremost if you are travelling on I 49 and your camper is longer than 25' it is highly recommended that you take exit 53 (170) exit. There are fewer tight turns for maneuvering big rigs. Second we camped in campground E which has full hookups. We had site 79 which is on the end of the left loop and near the bathhouse. All the hookup were very convenient. In fact I only had to short hoses for all connections. Lin Creek is right behind the campground and we could hear the running water which was pleasant for camping and sleeping. The only down side to our experience was the check-in. The check-in is not at the campground so, we had to drive our 32' RV to the Visitor Center which has a very small parking lot for big rigs and for turning around. Signs say to check-in before going to your camp site however; campers with 5th wheel campers were parking their camper then driving their truck to the visitor center. This I would suggest was a good idea to avoid issues with parking at the visitor center. Hiking trails were well maintained and easily accessible, If you only hike 1 trail take the 1.5 mile trail to the water falls. We were there a day after a rain and the water falls were mesmerizing to see and watch.
This campground is just okay. The sites are full hookup on level gravel. Most sites are out in the open with very little shade. There seems to be several permanent campers but not like a trailer park. We really like it because it is very close to the Razorback paved trail starting at mile 0 of more than 40 miles of excellent trails and near Arkansas University.
Our timing for our second stay was more expensive. Usually rates are $38 nightly and $34 for Good Sam's members however; there are special event weekends where the rate is $50 for the weekend. This weekend is graduation weekend so the lot was full. Another note is that the WIFI here is very weak and it comes and goes.
My wife and I love cycling on the trails in and around Bentonville. Blowing Springs RV park in Bell Vista is at the North end of the 44 mile paved trail that passes by Crystal Bridges, down town Bentonville and beyond. The RV park is also the trailhead to several miles of mountain bike dirt trails. All these trails are good hiking trails also. The RV sites are level but not much space between them. I would recommend sites 4, 6 or 38 when summer camping. These sites have more shade. The sites are back in sites with full hookups. They offer a Good Sam discount and the campground is usually full especially on weekends.
We have camped here a couple times and planning to return again. Most sites are level with electric and water hookup however no sewer only a dump station. In the spring of 2020 many sites were under water from the spring rain.
Great camping spot with easy access to the lake and marina however there isn’t any water or sewer hookup on the camp site. Almost boondocking with electric hookup and a dump station.
