Best place for the worst trip

Beautiful views on top of the mountain! The restaurant was great! Nice camping pad! Took our 1 yo camping on top of the mountain in late September. The wind tossed out tent back and forth. It want going anywhere but it kept her awake. Drove up and down the mountain in super fog. I could see about 5’ in front of the car. Finally gave up and packed it in at 3:30 am. Had to call the ranger to let us out at 4:15. Such a nightmare. Our fault. Not the park. 🤷‍♂️

Great family camping!

Nice sites. Clean bathrooms. Charging station. Lake hikes. General store and food stand with ice cream. Farm tour. Nice playground. Close to shopping and restaurants in Freeport.

Nice park outside of Acadia

Nice campsites. Clean bathrooms. Wood available on site. Treehouse is fun! Nice hikes around the water. Great place to camp close to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Great park! Nice sites. Great Lake!can rent canoes and kayaks. Great swimming. Beach to rest and picnic. Clean bathrooms. Kids movie in outside amphitheater. Junior ranger program. The hike up to the lake is amazing!!

Just the best! So much to do at Acadia! Hikes, education centers, Cadillac Mountain, Thunder hole and more! Sites are great! Close to Bar Harbor. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are off site.

Great for families!

Between two rivers. Pool, baseball diamond, arcade, kids movies, playground. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in Conway. Storyland and Mt Washington super close!

Great Lake!

Quiet spot. Clean bathrooms. Great lakeside area for picnics and swimming!! Nice trails! Not much to do outside park.

Great state park with cute town attached!

We are pop-up campers. We had plenty of room for our camper. Dog friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. “Playground” is a bit of a stretch. Firewood was a bit pricey at $7 a bundle. Nice hike and mountain views! Camden is a great town by the water with restaurants and shops. Kayaking and sailboats are also available.
