Called their for last minute reservations for labor day weekend and received a call back the next day because they had a cancelation. They have 4 different lakes, 3 for fishing and one for swimming. We stayed on a nice quiet loop that was recently vacated by a seasonal camper. Ended up needing an extension cord and was able to borrow one from a session camper across the way. Everyone was very friendly. When you call fro reservations they are very helpful, make sure you tell them what you're towing so they can accommodate you. The only fallback was their sites are not numbered, if you go there know the loop you want. The A loop is mostly weekend campers. B and C are mostly seasonal. We were actually escorted via golf cart to our camp site. Facilities were clean, nice camp store too.
Oil F.C. is a hidden gem nestled in the woods not far from Oil Creek State Park. They have a great playground, a maze, a catch and release pond. Lots of things to do to keep the kids, or in our case the grandkids occupied. They have a well stocked camp store, in case you don't want to make the 4 mile ride into town. Their firewood prices are very reasonable. Rachel is a great in accommodating her campers. We were there 3 times this year. Its become our goto campground that's only an hour away from Erie.
